  • The Origin of "Puella Docta"

Happy February, everyone! (A bit belated, but still!) Thought I’d start the month off with an informative entry! So, this journal’s url is “puelladocta.blogspot.” Right, that’s pretty obvious. Even my twitter is “puelladocta.” Yet, I’m sure a few of you out there are wondering. “Why, Christina?” you may ask. “Why, oh, why, oh, why ‘puelladocta’ [...]

HI GUYS!!! Happy New Year!!! Whew, that was a WONderful break! I still feel like I’m playing catch-up in many areas of life, now that I’m officially married to my wonderful Wervyn and the holidays are over, but I am planning to get back into the swing of blogging and vlogging and officially writing, as [...]

This is the official site of Christina A. Nelson. Thanks for stopping by!

I’m a writer working on her first fantasy novel! I also love to blog, vlog and podcast, and I talk about my writing process, my inspiration, and other storytelling or creativity-related topics I find interesting. I’m also a huge nerd, which accounts for a lot of the stuff I talk about here :D Hope you enjoy!

  • I’ve read HP3 before, but for a 8-page chapter, “The Dementor’s Kiss” just sucks all the happiness out of me….rather [appropriately].

I am irate that Remus turns into a Werewolf and Peter escapes. But I think I’m saddest that Harry will never get to live with Sirius.

    me tweeting last night

I didn’t have enough characters to finish my thoughts. I am almost disconsolate right now about this. Even if Harry just lived a perfect week with Sirius as his guardian that would satisfy me.

I can’t help but be heartbroken at the awesomeness that could never be. I imagine them living in an old hunter’s cottage in the Hogwarts area that Harry bought with lots of his money. But no, it can’t happen. No going out for butterbeers or a pint with Hagrid on the weekend and hanging out in Hogsmeade at the joke shop or Honeydukes. No trips to Diagon Alley every start of term for school shoppig, ice cream and maybe sightseeing. I bet there’s a secret wizard Madame Tussauds they could go to with dummies doing bloody historical reenactments! But no! No lounging around the house, a pair of wizard bachelors subsisting on chocolate frogs and magical ramen and liking it. No broom races or taking spins on Sirius’ motorbike. No Quidditch World Cup trips with the Weasleys and Lupins. No playing catch in the yard with Buckbeak while steaks magically grill themselves for lunch.

I’m devastated that this can never happen. I’m not looking forward to Book 5, if my fangrief is this potent now.

I think I just died and regenerated.

#you know what i love most about this #it reminds everyone that he’s the same man #always will be the same man #no matter what he looks like or how he acts #underneath it all he will always be the time lord with the tardis #and he has all these adventures and such a tragic #brilliant life #and we see that in every incarnation #and though people have favourite incarnations this is why we shouldn’t argue about which is ‘better’ #because they’re all just that same man

If anyone asks me if they should watch Doctor Who, I’m just going to tell them to watch this video and decide for themselves.
